Medical Assistant Certification Program

Our 10-month combined certification pathway in medical assisting provides practical, hands-on training to prepare you for the national certification exam to become a highly qualified Medical Assistant. Within the program, you will gain skills in:

• Electrocardiography (ECG)
• Phlebotomy Technician (qualified to take the ASCP)
• Patient Care Technician (qualified to take the CPCT)
• Medical Assistant (CCMA)

Throughout the program, you will gain expertise in pharmacology, laboratory procedures, medical law, clinical patient care, and health sciences. Our curriculum is designed to prepare you for a fast-paced career in hospitals, clinics, and outpatient care facilities.

• Intermountain Health
• Billings Clinic
• Riverstone Health

Students will need to provide a Drug Screen Panel. Students must have completed all the courses listed on the certificate sheet prior to enrolling in the MA class. Required: Students will need to purchase a stethoscope and navy blue scrubs. (Instructor will give recommendations). Optional Healthcare Provider CPR $60.
