This class is for students over 18 years of age who want help studying for and taking the written portion of the Montana test to obtain a driver's license. It consists of 4 two-hour sessions to prepare for the test which will be given during final session. If the student passes the test, they will receive a Learner's License which allows them to practice driving with any licensed driver over the age of 18. It is not necessary for those over 18 to obtain a Learner's License. They may take the written and driving test at the DMV at the same time in order to get a full privilege license. This course may be taken in conjunction with the Behind the Wheel course but does not have to be. If you have any medical issues, you need to get a medical release form from Driver's License Services filled out by a doctor that clears you to drive. If you have been denied a driver's license in another state you must get cleared through the Montana DMV to take the course.
Fee: $75.00

Jordan Hasquet

Jordan was born and raised in Missoula, Montana, and is a proud graduate of the University of Montana. After college, he pursued his passion for basketball by playing professionally in Europe. During his time in Luxembourg, he began substitute teaching at an international school and coaching youth basketball teams. It was through those experiences that he discovered his calling to become a teacher. Since returning to Montana, Jordan has taught at Stevensville High School and Billings West High School. He is currently at Skyview High School, where he plans to stay until retirement. Jordan holds a Master’s degree from the University of Montana and is also certified to teach Traffic Education. Since 2022, he has provided driver’s education to hundreds of students through both community programs and high school instruction. Helping students earn their driver’s licenses—and the freedom that comes with it—is one of the most rewarding parts of his work.
